These are postcards you could find all over France (or Germany for the german ones) during World War One , to bring comfort and support to the soldiers on the front . They stage scenes with the loved one , the parents ... The one on the left was sent by"Ernest" to "Jeanne" in 1919 , probably from occupied Germany as this a german postcard . The right one involves the same two . At the lower left of the blue soldier , you read :
Souriez ! C'est la gloire
Qui deja resplendit;
Sur ces prussiens maudits
Nous aurons la Victoire!
Victory over these "damned prussians" we achieved...at a price...
Two others . On the left one , you read :
