This is a nice wedding in a nice little french town in the Loire Valley . Thibault , my nephew , marries Clarisse . The weather was supposed to be clouded with rainstorms and it turned out to be sunny with a lighr breeze .

We arrived the day before , relaxed in the place , took time to dress . I needed some help for my necktie ( bought a few days ago ) , being not really used to wear one .
A wedding is the sum of two persons , but also of the work of many others , brothers , sisters , parents , and of all the guests , each of them bringing his/her own touch .
It is also where you see gathered so many wonderful hats .I was the uncle and also the appointed photographer . And as so many chapeaux and elegant women with their diverse attire took my attention ,I gradually collected pictures of flamboyant dames and demoiselles .

I noticed an outstanding hat emerging from the crowd : It was green and dynamic . I thought , this is the one . And then I recognized Chantal . I took her picture with her two daughters . The three of them were radiant and gorgeous .

As everyone enjoyed the end of the afternoon on the lawn with a glass of Champagne ( me too ) , I shared my time between socializing here and there and looking for the most beautiful headstyle .

Soon , the evening came , and the dinner , in a beautiful historic setting . Fine food , Chinon wine , animations by the family and friends of the newlyweds . And the hats , as I then discovered , also had their place together ...
